Future Prospects for Graduates
Students graduating from university have to pass the National Board Examination, followed by mandatory two-year post-graduate medical training before they go to private sector for clinical service as general practitioners.
Students can pursue advanced training for
- master degree alone (at least two years) for basic or clinical research.
- master degree in conjunction with residency for specialty training(at least 3 years) in the hospital.
- Ph.D. training for independent research.
Students can also develop to be leaders for dental or oral health care policy making or industries
