Future Prospects for Graduates

Students graduating from university have to pass the National Board Examination, followed by mandatory two-year post-graduate medical training before they go to private sector for clinical service as general practitioners.

Students can pursue advanced training for

  1. master degree alone (at least two years) for basic or clinical research.
  2. master degree in conjunction with residency for specialty training(at least 3 years) in the hospital.
  3. Ph.D. training for independent research.

Students can also develop to be leaders for dental or oral health care policy making or industries
